About Emergency Cards
Emergency Cards is a free reference for the first minutes of an emergency. Each card fits on one screen and one printed page, since nobody scrolls through an article while someone lies on the floor.
The cards follow internationally taught guidance, mainly from the European Resuscitation Council and the IFRC first aid guidelines, together with EU occupational safety law. They are written for laypeople, not clinicians.
The site is static. It has no accounts and no adverts, and analytics load only if you agree. After you open it once, it stays available offline on your phone.
The content is published under a free licence and needs attribution. If you train people, print the cards and use them.
Accessibility: the site works with a keyboard and a screen reader. Every page has one consistent heading structure, a skip link and visible focus outlines. Text scales without breaking the layout. The dark theme follows your system setting. Colour is never the only signal, and a card can be read without JavaScript. If something is unreadable or out of reach for you, write to the contact address and it will be fixed.
