Emergency Cards EN-GB

About Emergency Cards

Emergency Cards is a free reference for the first minutes of an emergency. Each card fits on one screen and one printed page, since nobody scrolls through an article while someone is on the floor.

The cards follow internationally taught guidance, mainly from the European Resuscitation Council and the IFRC first aid guidelines, along with EU occupational safety law. They are written for laypeople rather than clinicians.

The site is static. It has no accounts, no tracking scripts and no adverts. Once you have opened it, it stays available offline on your phone.

The content is published under a free licence, with attribution. If you train people, print the cards and use them.

Accessibility: the site works with a keyboard and a screen reader. Every page has a single heading structure, a skip link and visible focus outlines. Text scales without breaking the layout, and the dark theme follows your system setting. Colour is never the only signal, and a card can be read without JavaScript. If something is unreadable or out of reach for you, write to the contact address and it will be fixed.
