About Emergency Cards
Emergency Cards is a free reference for the first minutes of an emergency. Every card fits on one screen and one printed page, because nobody scrolls through an article while somebody is on the floor.
The cards follow widely taught international guidance, mainly the European Resuscitation Council, IFRC first aid guidelines and EU occupational safety law. They are written for laypeople, not for clinicians.
The site is static. No accounts, no tracking scripts, no adverts. Once you have opened it, it stays available offline on your phone.
Content is published under a free licence with attribution. If you train people, print the cards and use them.
Accessibility: the site is built to work with a keyboard and a screen reader. Every page has one heading structure, a skip link, visible focus outlines, text that scales without breaking the layout, and a dark theme that follows your system setting. Nothing depends on colour alone and nothing depends on JavaScript for reading a card. If something is unreadable or unreachable for you, write to the contact address and it will be fixed.
